Because of the nature and scope of the teachings of “Theology of the Body” our group has found it necessary to develop and run many different courses, seminars, talks and retreats for a wide range of audiences.
For schools we now offer retreats for school children as young as grade 3 on the dignity of the human person; sexuality and morality education retreats for grade 6 and 7’s and age appropriate morality based programs for high school students on the issues facing young people today when it comes to love, sex, sexuality and the teachings of the church.
For parishes we run “Theology of the Body” courses for youth, young adults and any who are interested, using the “TOB for Teens” and Christopher West “The Gift” DVD Series’ over 8 to 12 weekly 1,5 hour sessions.
On the parish and diocesan level we run weekend retreats outlining the core teachings of the “Theology of the Body”, through personal testimonies and group “sharings”, as an introduction to the topic while aiming to provide a setting where participants can encounter Christ.
For religious we run “Theology of the Body” Week long seminars, exploring the teaching in depth using a variety of mediums with aim of coming to understand the fullness of God’s design for the desires and longings of the human heart.
We also present a number of once-off talks for different groups on the “Theology of the Body”, emotional virtue, dating, God’s plan… etc. that are tailored to specific groups and settings.
