THE FOUNDATION FOR THE PERSON AND THE FAMILY (“THE FOUNDATION”) is a not for profit organisation that sells Christian products and services throughout South Africa.

DELIVERY POLICY

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders placed on the website will be processed within 7 (seven) working days and delivery/pick up confirmed via email. Should use of a courier be required, the customer acknowledges that in appointing a courier company, that THE FOUNDATION is acting as the customer’s agent and accordingly, the customer shall bear all risk of shipping and will be responsible to lodge any claim against the courier company timeously. All shipping costs will be for the account of the customers and must be paid prior to shipping. A quote for shipping will be provided to the customer prior to shipping where the order exceeds 2 kilograms. Any order by a customer is deemed received and accepted once shipped by THE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION may at any time change the courier company appointed or add additional shipping methods. The above terms will apply in respect of any shipping entity appointed. Tickets for events hosted by THE FOUNDATION will be sent to customers via email within 24 hours of a transaction taking place.

EXPORT RESTRICTION

The products offered for sale on this website are available only, for delivery in South Africa.

RETURN AND REFUNDS POLICY

The provision of goods and services by THE FOUNDATION is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, THE FOUNDATION will refund the customer in full within 30 days. THE FOUNDATION does not offer any refund on product/s returned. Should any product/s be defective or damaged, THE FOUNDATION will replace the item subject to the provisions contained in these terms and conditions, and as supplemented by the provisions on the Product Return Form. Accordingly, the Product Return Form must be completed for any product/s returned. All items must be returned within 10 (ten) days of receipt. Any product/s returned may be subject to a handling fee equal to 8% of the purchase price of any product/s returned. All items must be returned in original packaging. The shipping cost for any product/s returned, will be for the customer’s account.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY

THE FOUNDATION shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users/ customers. Only authorised employees or contractors who agree to keep the information confidential and secure have access to this information. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

THE FOUNDATION may use cookies and other tracking technology to gather information about the search engines used, browsers, operating systems, number of visitors to the site. Such information shall only be used to improve the website.

PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard credit cards or by bank transfer into THE FOUNDATION bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY

Credit card transactions will be acquired for THE FOUNDATION via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway. PayGate is a licensed System Operator with the Payments Association of South Africa (PASA). PayGate is fully PCI compliant and uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS

Customer details will be stored by THE FOUNDATION’s separately from card details, which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za

THE FOUNDATION will store certain information, such as shipping address, postal address, email address, names, when such are supplied voluntarily by the customer. Any information collected is used solely for fulfillment of your orders. THE FOUNDATION shall not use this information for any other purpose, unless your permission is first obtained. THE FOUNDATION shall however be entitled to share such information with any governmental agencies or other entities or persons assisting in any fraud investigation and to assist in fraud prevention.

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Save to the extent it is specified otherwise herein, THE FOUNDATION shall bear no liability for any harm caused or otherwise arising to any person using or transacting on this website.

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa.

VARIATION

THE FOUNDATION may, in its sole discretion, change this any of the terms and conditions contained on this website agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice, provided that the terms and conditions applicable to any particular transaction will be the terms and conditions on this website at the date of the placing of the order giving rise to such transaction.
